Arons & Arons, LLC. provides exceptional legal services to medical providers or individuals whose bills have been improperly denied or reduced by PIP carriers in NJ.   We file demands to recover unpaid bills for medical providers including chiropractors, pain management specialists, acupuncturists, anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, dentists, nurses, physical therapists. Each year we recover significant amount of money for providers throughout New Jersey for bills that were improperly denied by PIP insurance carriers.

Why choose Arons & Arons, LLC. to handle your PIP arbitrations?

Because you will be satisfied with the service we provide and the results we are able to achieve for your practice.  We have the experience and resources to put forth the best argument to either compel the carrier to settle, or obtain a favorable arbitration award.  And what truly separates us from other firms is the relationship we have with our PIP clients and their staff.  Not only do our lawyers keep our PIP clients closely informed as to the status of their cases, we also work with our providers and their staff to analyze their billing procedures and make recommendations to increase chances bills will get paid without the need for arbitration.

What is PIP?

PIP, also known as “no fault coverage”, stands for personal insurance protection, and it is an extension of car insurance that covers medical expenses related to an auto related injury.  PIP carriers must pay for causally related necessary treatment subject to the limits of the particular policy.

Why are bills denied?

There are many reasons carriers try to justify the denial of payment for services.  Here are some common arguments;

  • The treatment wasn't medically necessary or causally related to the accident at issue;

  • The provider failed to properly per-certify treatment or failed to properly appeal the initial denial;

  • The patient failed to cooperate with obligations that are contained within the policy;

  • The provider didn’t use the proper coding to bill the services provided;

All too often these arguments are raised without strong support from the carrier. Arons & Arons, LLC. knows how to refute these arguments by gathering and organizing proofs that makes it easy for the arbitrator to see why reimbursement is appropriate.

What are the fees for your services?

We do not charge our PIP client's legal fees. Instead, fees are awarded separately to the discretion of the arbitrator if money is awarded. If there is no recovery, you do not pay any fee for filing costs.   Also fees are negotiated when a case is settled. Legal fees are not contingent, meaning they are not taken from the award or settlement amount.  Therefore, you will never be responsible for the payment of legal fees. *
